Formal Modeling and Simulation for SARS-CoV-2 Containment Scenarios in Catalonia

We define interrelated models to simulate the spread of SARS-CoV-2 in Catalonia, which can be used effectively build simulation applications and analyze effects nonpharmaceutical interventions. Due constant evolution this pandemic, need take a multidisciplinary approach, we use formal specification represent model validate assumptions. discuss definition using languages, Specification Description Language improve communication between stakeholders. show formalization details, implications validation process, present how results obtained from pandemic Catalonia for decision-making.
